Re: Why FREE?

1-minute read

I am aware that this might be controversial, Reader.

Sometimes, offering something valuable for free can raise questions, and I want to be open about it.

As you know, our Mindfulness Training for Leaders and Changemakers begins in just one week, on Friday, February 21st, at 4 PM GMT, and today I had a conversation with other business owners about:

Why am I offering this for FREE?

You can listen to it here if you're curious: πŸŽ₯

In short, my reasons are these:

  • These teachings are traditionally offered without charge, as they are timeless and priceless. I learned these principles freely from Dharma teachers, following the practice of Dana (generosity and reciprocity), and I like the idea of honouring that whenever possible.
  • These teachings have been passed down for over 2,500 years. They are not mine to sell.
  • I want this introduction to mindfulness to be accessible to as many people as possible.

I haven't always felt this way, and it won't always be possible to follow this principle.

But today, it is what feels alive.

So if you've been on the fence, know that it's not a scam πŸ˜… there's no hidden agenda, no strings attached.

It's a sharing that comes from the heart.

This is an introductory training, and we'll explore the basics of mindfulness meditation and the Dharma (Buddhist teachings).

But even if you're an experienced meditator, please know that this is a welcoming space for you to deepen your existing practice.

We'll go beyond the mainstream, secular approach, skip the 'telephone game' and tap directly into the real deal (the Dharma), touching upon some of the richer dimensions and roots of mindfulness. πŸͺ·

If you want to join >>> you're still on time.

Details of our first session, on Friday next week:

  • πŸ“… Date: Feb 21st
  • ⏰ Time: Friday, 16 GMT Time
